The wippix is ​​here to help people with a basic orientation in a myriad of AOC, vintages, quality assessments and product prices.

In any case, we do not claim that the results (according to wippix) are the only correct ones in our website. As you can see here, the calculation of wippix depends on two parameters which is changing:

1, the price of each bottle changes over time. In the same way, its price is different for each merchant

2, also the rating of the wine may vary, sometimes very significantly. As you know, wine evaluation is a very subjective matter.

However, we are convinced that the results presented on our website are sufficient for basic orientation.

 

Update data

We continuously add data to the tables - every year a new vintage is available from every winery. However, the bottles appear on the market during the year, depending on when the winery (or merchant) releases them for sale.

Valuation

Every quarter of the year, our website announces the best bottles according to wippix, for each Bordeaux AOC.

We would like someone to take on the same activities for other wine regions. We are convinced that the wines with the best price / performance ratio deserve it.
